Yours Clothing unveils multi-size webstore feature

As fit remains one of the biggest challenges for online retailers hit by massive returns rates, plus-size specialist Yours Clothing has launched a new shopping tool on its website that allows customers to view their clothing in multiple sizes before ordering.

It said the inclusive new feature allows customers to ‘select a model’ when browsing so they can see how the pieces fit on different bodies. The models display clothing on both a size 16-18 and 22-24.

The feature has been launched for more than 100 products so far with more styles due to be shown in multiple sizes before year-end. The longer-term aim is for all products to be displayed this way.

The company has been working on the new feature for the past three months and said it has been listening to customer feedback.

A spokesperson said: “We’ve built this new viewing function to promote our on-going body positivity messaging with an aim to ensure women of all shapes and sizes are being represented across our site. We want our customers to know we are listening and are able to view models that they can identify with and continue to shop with us online and in-store and with confidence.”

Yours is a fast-growing business and as well as its expanding UK presence, it sells in Europe and beyond. It also operates a menswear brand, BadRhino that has four dedicated UK stores as well as being available through Yours Clothing stores.
