UK's Farfetch introduces same day delivery

Farfetch, the UK etailer that gathers independent retailers under one umbrella, is introducing same-day delivery in nine cities.

Same-day delivery is now available in London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, Rome and Paris. Among the stores that deliver on the same day are Feathers in London, Kirna Zabête in New York, The Webster in Miami, and Excelsior in Milan. Farfetch works with 300 boutiques in total.

"Our customers are at the heart of what we do," said Farfetch founder and CEO José Neves. "Following our customers' feedback, we wanted to provide a more far-reaching same-day delivery service than traditional models and we are excited to be able to launch it in a big way - in nine major cities. Our goal is to provide a 360 degree shopping experience like no other and our same day delivery service is another layer of commitment to our loyal Farfetch customer base."
