Tarte names new president and chief operating officer

New York-based, cruelty-free cosmetics brand Tarte Cosmetics has promoted two members of its executive team to new leadership roles, naming Candace Craig Bulishak as president and Kim Tran as chief operating officer. 

Both changes will be effective immediately. 

Bulishak, who has been with Tarte for 14 years, most recently served as chief marketing officer. She previously held senior roles at the company in communications, PR and marketing. Prior to joining Tarte, she served as a senior account executive at Whisper PR and as a PR associate at Neale-May & Partners/GlobalFluency. 

Tran comes to the role of COO after serving as senior vice president of new product development and operations. Previously, she held roles as a manager of new product development for Coty and commodity manager, purchasing for Del Laboratories, amongst others.

Founded in 1999, Tarte was acquired by Japanese company Kosé in 2014. Throughout last year, Tarte has boosted its image through a series of launches, including a new beauty brand and influencer collaborations with Adelaine Morin and Foinika Kay, known as ExteriorGlam.
