Schott NYC eyes the Canadian market

Schott NYC is eyeing Canada and bringing its iconic leather motorcycle jackets, bombers and pea coats to Canadian shoppers for the first time.

For their Canadian debut, the American-made brand can now be found at Town Moto in Toronto, a retail shop specializing in motorcycle gear and related ephemera, and will be coming soon to other retailers that are yet to be confirmed.

Schott NYC has teamed up with wholesale multi-brand sales and distribution agency, Slavin Raphael, for their first foray into the country.

“We are thrilled to be bringing this historical fashion brand to Canada,” said Avi Raphael, partner at Slavin Raphael, in a news statement. “Schott NYC has impacted modern style and the legacy of their jackets cannot be replicated. We are so proud to be a part of their ongoing fashion story.”

Established in 1913, the brand has been worn by noteworthy celebrities including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Drake, and has equally collaborated with notable fashion labels including Supreme, Vetements, Rag & Bone and more.

Schott NYC currently has locations across the United States. Most recently the brand opened its very first California flagship.
