The center, located at 34 Avenue de New York in Paris, will host a selection of immersive installations that address a variety of subjects, including human perception, social consciousness and the relationship between nature and technology, according to a press statement.

Given Parsons' renowned fashion programs, several installations will center on fashion studies, including works exploring topics like gender and identity. Fashion-related research projects, including two thesis developed in collaboration with the Musée Yves Saint Laurent, will also be presented. In addition, a section of the exhibition will be dedicated to a project conducted between the Master in Fashion Studies and the Palais Galliera - Musée de la mode de la Ville de Paris.

Founded in 1921, Parsons Paris is the European branch campus of New York City's Parsons School of Design (founded in 1896), and part of The New School.

The Mona Bismarck American Center was launched in 2011 as a continuation of the Mona Bismarck Foundation, both established in honor of the wealthy 20th century American socialite, Mona von Bismarck.

During her lifetime, the fashion-forward Bismarck was the muse and life-long friend of couturiers Cristòbal Balenciaga and Hubert de Givenchy, and her posthumous institution was established with the intention of creating a deeper relationship between Americans and the French.
