Outdoor Voices appoints Nike and Under Armour alum as new president and COO

Austin, Texas-based outerwear brand Outdoor Voices has announced the appointment of former Nike and Under Armour executive Pamela Catlett as president and chief operating officer.
 

In her new role, Catlett will be working closely with Outdoor Voices founder and CEO Tyler Haney to accelerate growth across all aspects of the company’s business.
 
Catlett joins Outdoor Voices from Under Armour, where she served as senior VP and group general manager of the women’s and youth categories, creating and executing the global growth strategy of a $1 billion business.

Prior to Under Armour, the executive, who is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program and has a BA from the University of Redlands and an MBA in strategy from Claremont Graduate University, spent 13 years at Nike. While working at the international sportswear conglomerate, Catlett served as vice president, general manager of the women’s training and Amplify category, and vice president, investor relations.  
 
“I’ve been searching for the right person to be a key partner with me for two years,” said Haney in a release. “It was worth the wait because Pam brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience, […] she has an astute business acumen and knows how to drive revenue growth while building and leading a team. Like me, she will push for innovation and growth throughout our business.”

Outdoor Voices was founded in 2013 and has since attracted over $50 million in venture funding.
