The next Milan Women's Fashion Week will run from 20th to 25th September, and a first draft of the catwalk show calendar has now been published, soon to be integrated with the event and presentation schedule.

The Milan Fashion Week calendar has been published - cameramoda.it

The Milan event will feature 61 shows, including the debut of Paul Surridge for Roberto Cavalli, on Friday 22nd September, and of Lucie and Luke Maier for Jil Sander (23rd September), as well as maiden shows by Albino Teodoro (23rd September), Brognano (22nd September) and Younchan Chung (introduced by Mercedes-Benz on Thursday 21st September).

Among the big names to show on the first day, Wednesday 20th September, are Gucci, Byblos, Alberta Ferretti and Francesco Scognamiglio; Max Mara, Fendi, Prada and Moschino will follow suit on Thursday 21st. Roberto Cavalli, Tod’s, Giorgio Armani and Versace will star on the third day, while the line-up for Saturday 24th features Bottega Veneta, Blumarine, Ermanno Scervino, Missoni and Salvatore Ferragamo. Sunday 24th September will be the day for Marni, Trussardi and Laura Biagiotti, and Mila Schön will close the event on the last day, Monday 25th September.

Thanks to the agreement between the Milan City Council and the Italian Fashion Chamber (CNMI), the Cariatidi Room at Milan's Royal Palace will once again be the fashion week's main venue, joined for the first time by the Fabbrica del Vapore, a former train/tram factory converted into art complex. Other venues include a catwalk space and two presentation halls at the Spazio Cavallerizze, at the National Museum of Science and Technology.

The Fashion Hub at the Unicredit Pavilion in Gae Aulenti Square will host both the media area and the Fashion Hub Market, the fifth edition of a CNMI initiative in favour of emerging international brands, showcasing 14 designers. Milan's September Fashion Week will also host the first edition of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia, the sustainable fashion prize organised by CNMI in collaboration with Eco-Age, sponsored by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, the Italian Foreign Trade Agency (ICE) and the City of Milan.
