McGregor Fashion Group entrusts eponymous brand to Armin Broger

Change at the top for McGregor. The brand is based in the Netherlands, but was created in New York by a Scotsman, and has recently appointed Armin Broger as Managing Director. Broger succeeds Jan-Paul t'en Hoopen and has worked for Esprit from 2012. He was notably in charge of the launch of youthful, minimalist brand every.day.counts. The latter operates one store only, in Amsterdam, which is also where the headquarters of Broger's new employer are located.

Before joining Esprit, Armin Broger honed his skills especially in the denim sector. From 2006 to 2007 he was in charge of the EMEA region for 7 for all Mankind, and after that he was President of Levi Strauss Europe. Also, from 2001 to 2005 he was in charge of operations for Tommy Hilfiger Europe.

McGregor has recently appointed Oliver Frielingsdorf at the head of Gaastra, its maritime-inspired second brand.
