Matthew Williamson creates exclusive capsule collection for Lyst

Matthew Williamson, the UK fashion designer known for his glamorous bohemiam styles, has created a new capsule collection that is exclusive to fashion e-tailer Lyst.

The line is inspired by the designer's memories of Morocco, channeling the country's architecture, energy and craftmanship. It also features Williamson's signature kaleidoscopic colour, prints and embellishment, and contains 11 pieces.

"This edit taps into my design DNA. Inspired by trips to Morocco over the years, women like Talitha Getty and Lou Lou de la Falaise in the 70s came to mind during the design process. That signature femininity encapsulates my aesthetic,” Williamson comments.

Williamson's Lyst collection spans daywear to statement pieces and includes a hand-embroidered cocktail dress with mosaic mirror-work and fully-sequined geometric panels. It is available from June 22, and comes after Williamson announced a renewed online focus this spring.
