L'Oréal France: Céline Brucker promoted to general manager

For this new year 2023, L'Oréal France is reorganising its management. Céline Brucker, currently in charge of the consumer division in France, which includes brands such as Garnier, L'Oréal Paris, Mixa and more, has just been promoted to general manager of L'Oréal France. She will be succeeding Hervé Navellou, who held the position since September 2015, and who is now becoming president of L'Oréal France.

Céline Brucker joined the L'Oréal group in 1997 in a marketing role in the United States, before being appointed marketing director of Garnier in Europe in 2006. In 2009, she then became general manager of the L'Oréal Paris brand in France.

After a two-year stint at Chanel and then at the Boston Consulting Group, Céline Brucker returned to L'Oréal in 2017 as general manager of the consumer division.  

Myriam Bekkar-Schneider, director of L'Oréal Luxe France since 2020, will succeed Céline Brucker as managing director of the consumer division. She will be replaced by Aglaé de Beauregard, currently in charge of the general management of luxury travel retail.

From January to September 2022, the turnover of the L'Oréal group, which owns Lancôme, Yves-Saint-Laurent and LaRoche-Posay, grew by 20.5% to 27.94 billion euros. L'Oréal will publish its annual results on February 9.
