H&M unveils Giambattista Valli campaign, Jenner, Ferragni and H.E.R. all star

H&M is continuing its gradual rollout of assets around its Giambattista Valli special collection that launches on November 7 with the release Friday of its campaign imagery.

The company is putting intensive support behind this particular link-up with the wider campaign having started back in the spring when it launched the special collection's pre-collection complete with a Cannes Film Festival extra publicity push.

The product imagery for the main collection was unveiled earlier this month and now the campaign shows the company playing up the maximalist appeal of Valli’s designs with a line-up of famous faces that H&M tends to favour for its designer collaboration campaigns.

This year’s famous faces include not only models, but music and social media stars too with Kendall Jenner, Clara 3000, Chiara Ferragni, H.E.R, Luka Isaac, Cameron Monaghan and Chris Lee all signed up.

They were shot by photography duo Mert and Marcus with styling by star stylist Melanie Ward.

Photographed in Valli’s home city, Rome, the campaign images feature opulent backdrops of antique statuary and furniture, landscape paintings, florals, formal gardens and even a maze that all seems a fitting environment for the clothes themselves.
