Grande and Jenner are most influential style icons, royals also make the list

New analysis of search activity has named Ariana Grande as the woman with the most influential style globally, while a number of other celebs and royals also make the grade.

The research by London-based materials specialist Dalston Mills Fabrics looked at Google search data for various style-related terms for over 200 famous women around the world to establish the biggest influencers.

Grande came out on top with an average of 59,150 searches being made each month globally in regards to her style.  In fact, the search term ‘Ariana Grande outfits’ is searched globally at an average of 31,000 times each month.

Kendall Jenner and Billie Eilish rank second and third, respectively. Jenner receives an average of 57,190 monthly searches with the most popular term being ‘Kendall Jenner style’ that receives an average of 13,000 monthly searches globally.

Billie Eilish sees 52,300 average monthly searches being made globally for her fashion. And the search term ‘Billie Eilish outfits’ has 22,000 average monthly searches while ‘Billie Eilish street style’ has 8,500 monthly searches globally.

By contrast, in fourth place isn’t a celebrity but a royal with the newly appointed Princess of Wales — formerly Kate Middleton — seeing 41,800 average monthly searches made globally for her fashion. Still widely known by her maiden name, the term ‘Kate Middleton fashion’ is searched 9,500 times each month around the world and ‘Kate Middleton style’ is searched 15,000 times.

In fifth place is Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian on 33,800 searches who has an average of 10,000 made each month for her outfits and 4,900 for her style.

Next comes model and influencer, Hailey Bieber with 32,220 monthly global searches for her style. Of all the famous names on the list, she ranked highest when it came to searches for her street style (12,500 times each month on average).

Back with the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kylie Jenner has 31,200 searches, ahead of Rihanna, whose style is searched 27,700 times each month around the globe. Bella Hadid is ninth with 27,500 monthly global searches.

It’s interesting that in 10th place is the late Princess of Wales, Princess Diana. She died in 1997 but her style is still one of the most sought after around the world with 26,030 searches for her style each month.

Other big names in the top 15 are Audrey Hepburn, Selena Gomez, Meghan Markle, Gigi Hadid and Zendaya.
