Giorgio Armani creates clothes and accessories collection for Bugatti

The Italian fashion label and the car manufacturer have joined forces to produce a capsule collection of luxury ready-to-wear apparel and accessories, which highlights their distinctive elegance and expertise.

The 'Giorgio Armani for Bugatti' collection is entirely dedicated to men, and has a clear, very high-end positioning, targeting a sophisticated clientele. The premium-quality materials used to manufacture each piece bear witness to this: calfskin, crocodile leather, cashmere and suede. Besides, the capsule collection's ready-to-wear items and accessories are all numbered, and they are produced in a limited edition.

"Our partnership with Bugatti came about quite naturally. Both of us love well-crafted products, devised to last and created using the best materials available. The collection encapsulates this affinity, through a series of garments and accessories created for men who seek nothing but the best, and who lead an active, dynamic life," explained Giorgio Armani.

The collection will be available for the Autumn/Winter 2016-17 season, and puts the accent on the Bugatti brand's hallmarks: the horseshoe-shaped emblem affixed to the cars' radiator grille, and the colour blue. More generally, the collection's colour palette includes blue, cognac brown and khaki green.

Customers can choose from a wide selection of luxury accessories, among them a handmade calfskin briefcase, also available in mat crocodile leather, a week-end bag, belts, toiletry bags, wallets and iPad cases.

In terms of apparel, the 'Giorgio Armani for Bugatti' collection features an overcoat and a sports jacket in 2-ply cashmere, cashmere sweaters, a leather jacket, jeans, a cashmere hat, a crocodile skin sports blazer and calfskin sneakers.

The collection will be available for sale from August 2016 at selected Giorgio Armani stores and in Ettore Bugatti lifestyle stores.
