MILAN, Sept 12 (Reuters) - Italian shoe maker Geox , known for its "no-sweat" shoes, has entered a distribution partnership with China's Belle International , it said in a statement on Friday, September 12th.

The partnership with the shoe retailer will allow Geox to open 200 sales points by 2010 in China, Geox said.

Geox aims to expand the number of stores it has worldwide to more than 1,500 by 2010 from 724 at the end of last year.

Geox makes shoes with breathable soles and is taking on big players like Nike and Adidas with its "no-sweat" sports shoes. (Reporting by Marie-Louise Gumuchian; Editing by Quentin Bryar)
