G-Star Raw’s joint CEO leaves

Rob Schilder is now alone at the helm of G-Star Raw. For the last eleven months, he shared the CEO position with Patrick Kraaijeveld. The latter has now left the Dutch denim label founded by Jos Van Tilburg in 1989, having worked for the company for 25 years, virtually since its inception.

"The joint-management system was a temporary solution designed to allow a smooth transition, as we prepared our organisation for a retail-oriented future. It worked successfully, and after a year we are now ready to announce the appointment of Rob Schilder as sole CEO. After contributing more than anyone else to the success of G-Star in the last 25 years, Patrick Kraaijeveld is leaving the company," said G-Star Raw's President Jos Van Tilburg.

The denim label, one of whose shareholders is Pharrell Williams, appointed Aitor Throup as Creative Director last year. G-Star Raw has not disclosed its revenue.
