Foot Locker Europe launches basketball-inspired capsule collection

It’s not all about footfall as the European Championships is about to kick off. No. There’s room for basketball too.


Melody Eshani launches her basketball-inspired ME Foot Locker line


In the first of a series of collection launches this year for athletic sportswear giant Foot Locker, Melody Eshani is launching an exclusive basketball-inspired capsule collection.

Eshani is the new creative director of Foot Locker’s women’s business, and also the "visionary and entrepreneur” behind ME, “a streetwear brand specialising in jewellery, footwear and clothing with purpose”.

The ME Foot Locker collection, inspired by her love of basketball, highlights colours inspired by nature and temperature. Specifically, thermal patterns are used to reflect an individual’s response to their environment and what connects people at a global level. 

Outside of the shapewear (bra and bike short), 70% of the capsule is unisex/neutral. The collection also features a ‘Ball Vision’ tee and short set, a fleece crew and short set and an organza tracksuit. Accessories include crew socks and shoelaces. All pieces will be available in a variety of sizes online and at select Foot Locker stores.
