DC shoes and Nissan partner up for co-branded video

Since the mid 2000s, advertising has often paired skating with cars. The first videos saw an Audi TT launch off the end of a ramp and a Nissan Qashqai converted into a giant skateboard.

Since the early 2010s, skaters have even been part of the videos. Spanish skater-choreographer Killian Martin hs shown off his skills in commercials for Mercedes-Benz and Smart. 

And now Nissan is joining the game. The automaker has produced a commercial for its Juke Nismo RS in partnership with the DC Shoes skate team (Wes Kremer, Matt Miller, Madars Apse, Joseph Scott and Anthony Lopez) and directed by Chris Ray. 

The film, called “Headlight Sessions”, consists of original night-session footage captured like no other, giving an insight into the world of some of the best street skaters on the planet performing their full range of skills.
