Published

Carolina Herrera has finally found a new CEO, François Kress, who just joined the luxury ready-to-wear brand from Spanish group Puig. This specialist in the luxury sector succeeds Caroline Brown, who resigned as president of Carolina Herrera to become CEO of Donna Karan International, a holding of the LVMH group.

François Kress

François Kress was previously global president of Stuart Weitzman, the luxury shoe brand for women recently purchased by American accessories manufacturer Coach. Before joining Stuart Weitzman in December 2013, the French executive, trained at the École des Ponts ParisTech, was chief operating officer at The Row, the luxury New York brand from the Olsen sisters.

His has also held many other positions, investing a great portion of his career in luxury brands, where he has always held high-ranking positions. He has notably been president and CEO of Prada and Miu Miu USA, CEO of Bulgari USA, working for the LVMH group and its brands around the world, from Fendi and Louis Vuitton to Céline and Loewe.
