By Malene Birger appoints Morten Linnet as brand CEO

After only two and a half years at the helm of By Malene Birger, Charlotte Egelund was replaced by Morten Linnet in the post of CEO.

The latter isn't  a newcomer within the company. He has in fact worked for nearly 9 years in the human resources department at IC Group AS (Peak Performance, Tiger of Sweden, Saint Tropez, Designers Remix and Charlotte Eskildsen), which has owned 100% of By Malene Birger since 2010.

Before being appointed Vice-President of HR at IC Group, Morten Linnet honed his professional skills notably at Mars Inc. as Human Resources Manager, and with GN Store Nord as internal sales trainer.

In the 2014/2015 fiscal year, the Danish group, present in over 40 countries, recorded a 2.9% sales increase, reaching DKK 2.64 billion (€354 million).
