Barneys New York launches Barneys Home and Kids

Barneys New York has launched Barneys Home and Kids, the store's new home and children's departments. The two new departments are located on the ninth floor of the Madison Avenue flagship, and will make their debut on October 20.
Previously, Barneys' home and children's products were sold together under the department store's Chelsea Passage division.
Barneys Home carries a variety of home brands and categories, including luxury linens, towels and bedding from brands like Magniberg and Somma, dinnerware from Hermes, and Baccarat crystal. In addition, Barneys is now temporarily carrying furniture, décor and accessories from brands like Gufram, Zanotta, and Laboratorio Pesaro in a pop-up partnership with Radical Design.
Barneys Kids features an extended selection of children's footwear from brands like Gucci, Givenchy, and Fendi, as well as clothing from brands like Moncler and Neil Barrett.
On launch day, the store will host a grand opening event featuring designer appearances, activations and customization activations.
Barneys has also announced a partnership with interior designer Ryan Korban, who will curate a pop-up installation at the store. The pop-up will celebrate the designer's new book, Ryan Korban: Interiors, and showcase his new furniture line, décor and accessories, along with a curated selection of Barneys Home products. The pop-up will run from November 6 through November 30, and the New York flagship will host a private event on the pop-up's opening day.
"With new categories and offerings, our redesigned Madison Avenue space, and innovative events and collaborations, Barneys New York will always have something new to satisfy both design enthusiasts and stylish kids," said Tom Kalenderian, executive vice president and general merchandise manager of the Barneys New York men's, children's and home departments.
