Armarium and Net-a-Porter forge partnership

Luxury ready-to-wear loaner Armarium announced on Wednesday the launch of a partnership with Net-a-Porter. As per the partnership, clients on the Armarium website can directly access Net-a-Porter to purchase clothes and accessories to “complete the look”.

 
The new collaboration is the first of its kind involving a company with a shared economy business model and a full-priced e-commerce business. Armarium clients can borrow pieces on the company’s website and head to Net-a-Porter to purchase a style. Stylists Micaela Erlanger, La Marque, Shiona Turini, Cristina Ehrlich and Natalie Joos, who are members of Armarium’s Style Brigade, curated the Net-a-Porter collection. The Style Brigade is a network of 35 renowned fashion stylists available for hire through Armarium.
 
Launched in spring 2016, Armarium ships seasonal looks from over 45 designers to clients to keep for a four-day period. Clients can extend their period beyond four days and have access to tailors and stylists. Armarium was available exclusively through a mobile app until September 28, 2016 when the website was updated to offer the same experience as the mobile app.

To date, Emilio Pucci, Etro, Ferragamo, Haider Ackermann, Jimmy Choo, Marchesa, Naeem Khan, Roberto Cavalli, and Vera Wang have partnered with Armarium to offer runway collections on loan.
