Alexa Chung teases new fashion line ahead of May launch

Alexachung, namesake brand of the British actress and model, has announced that the official launch date of the label will be May 30.

The brand has released a short film through its website in anticipation of the launch, accompanied by visuals shot by Chad Moore. The film features Alexa in a dressage run, her horse creating an impression in the sand of the Alexachung logo, an 'A' with a rounded flick.

Chung will act as Creative Director at her eponymous brand, alongside a design team of six people including Edwin Bodson, previously atelier head at Haider Ackermann, as Managing Director.

Following the British TV personality and model's success, she has been recruited as the face of brands including Longchamp and Agatha Paris; released a style book entitled 'It;'  and won three British Style awards.
